This program is designed to increase diversity in the nursing workforce in Savannah and surrounding counties. It helps academically and economically disadvantaged high school students to become interested and competitive for admission to Armstrong Atlantic State University.

The PLAN (Preparing to Learn About Nursing) phase of Project SUCCESS will help students increase their preparation for admission to the university by fostering a supportive environment ideal for future admission to the nursing program.

The Learn phase of Project SUCCESS is designed to improve retention and successful progression of culturally diverse pre-nursing students at AASU.

The Lead phase of Project SUCCESS will provide strategies to increase education opportunities for students enrolled i nthe pre-licensure nursing program at AASU. These strategies are designed to promote successful progression and graduation, and NCLEX eligibility of pre-licensure nursing students. Eligible students may include those who are in academic jeopardy.
