Rho Psi Awards 2005

1. Outstanding New Member
a. Purpose: To recognize outstanding involvement/commitment to the Rho Psi chapter by a new member
b. Eligibility: Rho Psi member in their first two years of paid membership
c. Nominations: Self nominated or nominated by another Rho Psi member
d. Materials to submit: CV, letter of nomination/support detailing Rho Psi/STTI activities/involvement
e. Awarded at: Induction in November (Deadline: October 3)

2. Outstanding Member
a. Purpose: To recognize outstanding commitment/involvement to the Rho Psi chapter by a member with 2 years + membership in Rho Psi chapter.
b. Eligibility: A member who has had 2+ years of paid membership in the Rho Psi chapter
c. Nominations: Self nominated or nominated by a peer
d. Materials to submit: CV, letter of nomination/support detailing Rho Psi/STTI activities/involvement
e. Awarded at: Annual Meeting in October (Deadline: October 3)

3. Leadership Achievement Award
a. Purpose: To recognize outstanding leadership achievements in the nursing profession by a Rho Psi member
b. Eligibility: Active, paid member in Rho Psi Chapter
c. Nominations: Self nominated or nominated by a peer
d. Materials to submit: CV, At least 2 letters of support, detailing leadership achievement in the nursing profession, other documents that support the nomination
e. Awarded at: Annual Meeting in October (Deadline: October 3)

4. Scholarly Achievement Award
a. Purpose: To recognize outstanding scholarship achievements in the nursing profession by a Rho Psi member
b. Eligibility: Active, paid member in Rho Psi chapter
c. Nominations: Self nominated or nominated by a peer
d. Materials to submit: CV, at least 2 letters of support detailing scholarship in the nursing profession, other documents that support the nomination
e. Awarded at: Research Day in March (Deadline: January 31)

You may nominate someone or self-nominate for an award. Please return all award application materials into a Rho Psi officer by the specified deadline.
